01/01/2021 Transfer of the Clients and Policyholders of GJIS Limited to GJIS (Europe) Limited
With effect from 24th December 2020 GJIS (Europe) Limited (GJISEU) was authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland to undertake insurance distribution under the European Union (Insurance Distribution) Regulations, 2018 (IDR).
In the short term our current clients located in the EU with running policies will continue to be serviced by GJIS Limited until expiry of their current policy. Prior to expiry renewal will be invited under our subsidiary and Irish registered company GJISEU.
All new Insurance Undertakings, i.e., new clients or new policies will be effected through the Irish company and insurance arranged through Insurers authorised to transact business within the European Union.
